Adieu

Goodbye Red Car. You were a great part of the family. We appreciate your 8 years and 8 months of good rides rendered. You came into our lives when we had only one small babe, and now there are three. You have survived amoxicillin barf and fathers and sons campouts. You brought Erin home from the hospital. Even though you were aging, we didn't mind. We love your special kind of air conditioning (aka the wind), your quirks (like the trunk won't open with the key), and even the peeling paint. But alas, it was time to let you go. Have fun in college- may your years still be many- and try not to forget us!

So who gets your car? A college student that you know?

This reminds me of our childhood pics of us lined up in front of the big van car!! hehe. Nice tribute. K looks kinda mad in this picture, hehe.

It's always a nice thing, but kind of a sad thing, when a car leaves a family. Pete and I were like, we hope the Neon is still running for our kids to drive! Hee hee! It will be 20 years old by the time my kids are ready to drive it! But hey, it could happen.
